Coding in the Library

Coding in the Library Kindergarten and 1st Grade students have been participating in coding activities during their library class time over the past several weeks. Students taking part in these enrichment activities are learning skills that will be of value in every 21st century career.

Students explore programming and debugging using the Robot Turtles game in the library. Through game play, skills such as planning, problem solving and persistence are reinforced.

Students must logically think and plan how to move the BeeBots around the playing grid.

Beebots reinforce collaboration and communication skills as students creatively plan how to program their BeeBots to do what they want.
