Design Project with EMS and Second Grade

Second graders in Ms. McMorris's class collaborated on a design challenge with middle school students in Mr. Truchon's class.

 Students were given a scenario of a turtle that was stranded in a neighborhood and had to get back to its habitat in the wetlands which was on the other side of a highway. 

Teams were given a bag of items to create something that would attach to a zip line and safely transport the turtle over the highway.
