Rhythm Leader Game

Mrs. FitzPatrick's students had fun today with their morning meeting activity!

For this game we ask one student to leave the classroom for a few seconds (the "guesser") while we pick a "leader". The leader then leads the class in a rhythm (clapping hands, snapping fingers, tapping head, etc.). 

Everyone watches carefully (without giving away who the leader is) because the leader changes the rhythm occasionally. After the rhythm begins, the guesser is brought back into the classroom and he or she has three guesses as to who the leader is.

 If he or she guesses correctly, the class celebrates. If not, the leader is revealed. Different children are chosen as the leader and the guesser to continue the next round of the game.  Lots of smiles = happy kids = more learning!
