Second Grade Animal Research

In Mrs. Johnson’s class, the students have started a research unit.  

They have chosen to study an animal and are working on collecting information from their sources that will then turn into a nonfiction book that the student authors!

They are collecting information such as what does your animal look like, where does it live, what does it eat and interesting facts. 

This project will take us up to our February break and the students are enjoying being an expert in their animal.  Check out these pictures of students in action!
