First graders are discovering all about light!
First they discovered light sources that were inside and outside.
Students are working on drawing exactly what they see and adding labels.
Next, first graders investigated which materials let light through.
In their experiment, student scientists used flashlights as their light source and used seven different materials to observe how much light went through each material.
