Disco Bowling in P.E.

All EES classes have been having a terrific time bowling in Physical Education this week. But this is not just any bowl experience, it is disco bowling!

Our amazing P.E. teacher, Mrs. Sessions, darkens the gym and sets up a disco ball. With apologies that these photos and videos are hard to see, it is dark in the class, and yet it is really something we want to celebrate and share- our students just love it so much!

Students are learning real skills, such as how to hold the ball, and how to lead with a step before letting go.

Here is a glimpse of the room in action, with lights and music. Ask your student about their experiences trying it this week. If he or she loved it, consider a trip to an area bowling lane, such as Champlain Lanes or Spare Time, where you can try disco bowling together!
