Kindergarten Visits Community Helpers

The Social Studies theme in Kindergarten is Community Helpers!  We are visiting with organizations in our community that help us.

We went on a field trip to the Fletcher Free Library. Students learned about the library and visited the children's area for a story with librarian Ms. Rebecca.

We also have had special visitors come and speak to us about their jobs. Officer Short from the Burlington School District came to speak with us in our classroom about his role as a police officer, and how he keeps our community safe.
