Morning announcements heard today
EES Morning Announcements have been very well delivered since the beginning of school by our very capable news team of 5th graders, Kadar and Olivia.
News for Thursday, Sept. 21
Here are our Morning Headlines:
.
(Preparing for our 90th Birthday next week)
Senator George Edmunds, for whom our school was named, was urged to run for President of the United States in 1880 and 1884 but chose not to run.
Next Monday is the beginning of the "Way to Go Challenge". We will be counting all students and adults who walk, roll on bikes, scooters, or skateboards, ride the bus or carpool to school. The prize for the school that has the most participation over the two weeks is a really cool solar tracker which will generate $85,000 in electricity. Let's do this. EES can win!
A very happy birthday today to Kadar in Mr. Styles class!
The following classes have earned yet another 100 Bees!
Mrs. Weidman's Kindergarten, Ms. Fagan's 1st grade, Ms. Bellavance's 2nd grade, Ms. O'Brien's 1st. Grade, Mr. Styles' 4/5th grade and Ms. Flynn's 4/5 grade announced 200 bees! Keep earning those bees.
That's all the news for today. We hope you have a remarkable day and as always, Be Safe, Bee Respectful, Be Responsible and Be AWESOME!
