Celebrating the 100th Day of School!

Happy 100th Day of School!

Here at EES, classes have been counting, playing, exercising, reading, and munching their way to one hundred all day long in celebration of our one hundredth day of school.

First graders in Mrs. Quinn's class read about celebrating the 100th day, and noticed that the children in the book had made 100-bead necklaces, just like they did!

Mrs. Weidman's class shared their techniques for counting out 100 objects to bring to school.

"7...8...9...10!"
At stations, Kindergarteners counted to 100 many ways. Here, they did ten sets of ten exercises to count their way to healthy bodies!

"I can eat 100 sushi rolls!"

Students in first grade wrote about what food they wish they had 100 of to eat!

And then, eat they did.  Students in Ms. O'Brien's classroom each brought 100 of a small treat to share with classmates, and mixed it up to make a big container of snack mix to share. Here, students shake and count their way to 100!

In Mrs. Kilburn's class, students made necklaces from 100 pieces of cereal!

The Kings and Queens
of One Hundred, in their wonderful 100's crowns, wish you a happy fabulous One Hundredth Day!
