Welcome to the New Edmunds Elementary School Blog!

Intended to be a communication starter, the goal of this blog is to increase communication with parents, students, and the surrounding community.  We hope to let you see what wonderful things our students are doing, and to keep you up-to-the-minute on any announcements and schedule changes that might come up. This new blog will improve our communications with you and help support the educational goals of our school.

Lots of exciting things have been happening in the building recently,  If you haven't seen it yet, we have a new elevator!  Click here to watch the WCAX news coverage of the ribbon-cutting celebration.

We are so grateful for how this is increase accessibility to our building. If you need to use the elevator, If you need to access the elevator, just let the person at the front door or the person responding to the buzzer know and someone will come down and help you.  The elevator needs a key, so you can't just push the button for service.

As part of our PBIS program (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), our Edmunds students have been earning lots of Bee Cards for being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. One classroom, which recently earned their 500th Bee Card, celebrated with a group ride in the elevator!
