The 3/4 team is deep into their Bridge Engineering unit.
Students have gotten some experience with the engineering design process, are learning about how to make a structure strong and stable, and will begin designing a team bridge within the next week or two.
In these pictures students are learning how the structure of a bridge affects its strength.
They tested beam bridges, deep beam bridges, and arch bridges and looked for movement and failure in each design as they added weights to the structure.
