On Thursday, October 5, 2017, Edmunds Elementary hosted our annual Open House for students and their families. Students were eager to show off their work to family members and friends. Parents had the chance to meet teachers, ask questions, and learn more about each grade level's curriculum.
First grade students share their ant hills with families. Students read aloud their class "Hopes and Dreams" with families.
Families had the chance to look through writing, science, math folders and more!
Second grade families explored writing folders. Students shared their calendar routines.
3/4 students had filled their desks with displays of self-portraits and bio poems. The self-portraits were inspired by Sandra Silberzweig.
Fifth grade parents had the chance to investigate a variety of rocks that students have used in class when studying geology.
