Artists ranged from first grade through fifth, and drew on large paper attached to the walls around the room.
The song leads the audience to call out suggestions for fruits and vegetables for different parts of Aiken Drum's body, such as an orange for a head or a watermelon body, as shown here.
Their work, and indeed the song, perhaps draw inspiration from the artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, an Italian painter from the 1500's, who painted portraits using fruits and vegetables, such as this work below.
